Facilities Management Department

January 2024 Mid-career hire / YF

He joined the company with a strong desire to use his experience in facility management and electrical safety to take on the challenge of K Arena Yokohama, which is looking 100 years into the future.

What kind of work are you in charge of?

I am primarily responsible for facility management and energy management. I maintain the infrastructure that is essential for facility operation, such as electricity, water, air conditioning, fire extinguishing and disaster prevention equipment. I also perform operational management work to increase efficiency and minimize daily energy costs, creating a comfortable environment for everyone who uses K Arena Yokohama.

Please tell us about the atmosphere of the team and the characteristics of the members.

Each member has their own strengths, and we have a well-balanced mix of people who are well-versed in technology, who steadily advance their work, and who are considerate of those around them. While expertise is necessary, we have a flat relationship, and we have a reassuring atmosphere where small worries or concerns can be shared immediately through casual conversation. Sometimes we get excited chatting about things outside of work, and it's a comfortable team atmosphere where you can relax and concentrate when you need to.

What are your career plans?

Now that the launch of K Arena Yokohama has come to a close, I would like to contribute to cost optimization and reducing the environmental impact of the entire organization by establishing a maintenance and management system that looks ahead to the longevity of the company. To achieve this goal, I need to have a field perspective as well as the judgment to pursue overall optimization through close collaboration with management and government. In the future, I strongly hope to grow as a person who can be involved in decision-making beyond the boundaries of my department and play a central role in supporting the organization in both technical and management aspects.
