What kind of work are you in charge of?

My responsibilities are broadly divided into two areas. The first is booking. I manage schedules up to two years in advance, including when and which artists will perform at K Arena Yokohama. The second is operations during the rental period. I handle a variety of tasks during the event, from coordinating performance-related matters and liaising with various departments within the company to adjusting the air conditioning and replenishing equipment. Starting this fiscal year, I've also taken on a dual role, overseeing the launch and operation of the K Arena Club, a paid membership organization. In my previous job, I was involved in ticket sales and on-site admission management for many years, and I thought I'd quit, but before I knew it, I was back in ticketing! (laughs) I think this is a good opportunity to utilize my career experience, and I feel like no experience is wasted.

Please tell us about the atmosphere of the team and the characteristics of the members.

With the increase in young employees in their 20s, the entire team is overflowing with fresh energy. Many members love music, and their genres range from rock and J-POP to classical. During lunch and breaks, they get excited talking about recommended artists and recent live shows, and conversations that transcend generations naturally emerge. Music brings us closer together and also leads to a sense of unity as a team.

What are your career plans?

I have a strong desire to personally plan and realize performances sponsored by K Arena Management, and to create performances that will move the hearts of many people. Furthermore, I would like to take on the challenge of launching large-scale events that will not only be held at K Arena Yokohama, but will involve various venues in the region and bring the whole city together. I want to revitalize the region through culture, and deliver excitement and pride to people - with this passionate desire in my heart, I am busy preparing every day.
