INTERVIEW

Flexible responses are required.
A workplace where taking on challenges leads to growth

Finance and Accounting Department

July 2024 Mid-career hire / YO

He decided to join the company because he felt he could utilize his experience in accounting work and be involved in all aspects of accounting work across a large business scale.

What kind of work are you in charge of?

I handle all accounting tasks, from expense settlement to monthly closing. I also issue invoices to customers who rent the arena and manage payments. Since the arena business involves somewhat unusual monetary movements, I check invoices and payments almost daily. I also operate the concession stand and VIP area at K Arena, so I manage sales and product inventory at the end of the month (inventory, etc.).

Please tell us about the atmosphere of the team and the characteristics of the members.

"Flexibility"
I think it's a very flexible team. There are general rules for how accounting work is done, but if you propose a more efficient method or innovation, the system is flexible and open to it. On the other hand, there are many opportunities to think for yourself, so I think it's a great environment for people who see this as a positive.
"It's easy to try even if you have no experience"
I also think that we have an environment where it is easy to take on challenges even if you have no experience. In fact, there are people in the accounting department who joined with no accounting experience, but they are steadily growing as they come into contact with accounting practices. This was something I struggled with when I took on an accounting position with no accounting experience at my previous job, so I think that our accounting department has an environment where even people with no experience can take on challenges if they are motivated.

What are your career plans?

Regarding my future career plans, I would like to become an accountant who can analyze the company's figures from multiple perspectives. In order to become an accountant with a multifaceted perspective, I believe it is important to challenge myself in various fields without limiting myself to my own field. I would like to continue to broaden my perspective without drawing boundaries within my own field.
